Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Hesabdar mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and shares your information. By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

In short: Hesabdar is an accounting tool. The financial data you enter is stored on your device and, when you enable backup, is uploaded to our own server and/or to your Google Drive or Dropbox account so you can restore it. We do not sell your data.

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The App is published by the Hesabdar / Mangro development team ("the Developer"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data we process

We do not ask for your bank passwords, card numbers or national ID. Please do not enter such data into free-text fields.

3. Where your data goes (backup & third parties)

Your accounting data stays on your device unless you use a backup or restore feature. When you do, that data leaves your device and is transmitted to one or more of the following destinations that you choose:

DestinationWhat is sentPurpose
Our server (mangroapp.ir/api)Your encrypted/packaged accounting backupCloud backup & restore operated by the Developer
Google DriveYour accounting backup fileBackup to your own Google account
DropboxYour accounting backup fileBackup to your own Dropbox account

Google Drive and Dropbox are independent services; data stored there is also governed by their own privacy policies (Google, Dropbox). We access only the files the App creates. We do not sell your data and do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Device permissions and why we ask

You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may then be unavailable.

5. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the accounting and backup features you request), your consent (for optional cloud backup and permissions, which you can withdraw), and our legitimate interests (keeping the App secure and stable).

6. Data retention

Data entered in the App remains until you delete it or uninstall the App. Backups on our server are kept so you can restore them; you may request deletion at any time (see your rights below). Backups you place in Google Drive or Dropbox are controlled and deleted by you in those services.

7. Security

Backups are transmitted over secure (HTTPS) connections. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data on our server. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by law.

9. Children

The App is a business tool and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by a new "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, a notice in the App.
